Ableworld in Llandudno, with the beginning of a new month and a new Spring Promotion, has decided to change the store display as well.

 

The Llandudno store is one of Ableworld's larger stores, where you can find over 1500 products, including a variety of Scooters, Powerchairs, and Wheelchairs, as well as small and medium items such as Personal Hygiene Products and Kitchen Aids to assist you in your daily life.

 

You can also receive a demonstration and explanation from one of our team members in Llandudno on how our straight and curved Stairlift works.

 

This Spring, Ableworld is offering the following services for our customers:

-Free delivery within 20 miles for purchases over £200

- A mobility bag with every scooter (worth over £29.99)

- 6 months insurance on all scooters, riser recliner chairs, and adjustable beds

- Assembly service for all scooters and chairs, which come fully assembled and ready to use at no extra cost.

Llandudno At Ricki, Sue And A Trip Or Two

Last September, the Ableworld Llandudno store had the fantastic opportunity to lend 3 scooters for a day to a Channel 4 production company filming a travel program called "Rickie, Sue and a Trip or Two." In this program, Rickie Tomlinson and Sue Johnson visit places that have had a significant impact on their lives.

 

During their visit to Llandudno, they were joined by Colin Jackson, and they rode the scooters down the North Shore Promenade. They even had a competition to see who was the fastest, but I can't spoil the winner for you! To find out the winner, you can watch the program anytime on catch-up on More 4, episode 3, or you can ask our lovely Llandudno team (who may or may not reveal the winner to you!).

Easter At Llandudno Store

During the Easter week, our Ableworld Llandudno store has been decorated to celebrate the occasion, and we think it looks great!

On Good Friday (29th March), we will be open 10am- 4 pm, and on Saturday (30th March) our normal opening hours of 9am - 5pm. We will be closed on Easter Sunday (31st of March), but back open on Monday 1st April, 10am- 4pm.

This weekend we also have the final few days of our 'Big Winter Sale', which will end on Sunday 31st March. North Wales Disability Resource Centre Is Closing Down

As a mobility retailer It’s always a sad moment when a service devoted to helping people with disabilities has to close its doors. After 25 years of serving the local community, the North Wales disability resource centre will no longer be providing its amazing service. Located on the grounds of Glan Clwyd Hospital, this resource centre will surely be missed by its loyal customers!

However, do not threat! Ableworld are here to support anyone who will be affected by the closure by providing many of the same invaluable services. Both Ableworld Llandudno and Ableworld Rhyl offer these services and their locations mean you won’t have to travel very far.

Our professionally trained staff, sell, service and repair mobility products such as mobility scooters, powerchairs and riser recliners, even if they weren’t bought from us directly. Ableworld don’t just stop there, we also supply bathroom aids, continence care and everyday kitchen aids.

A member of staff from any of our Ableworld stores can provide you with an in- store assessment to ensure you go home with the right product. That’s why you won’t see us selling expensive items on our online website, its Ableworld’s belief that every customer must try before they buy!

Our Ableworld Llanaduno store offers a mobility scooter and wheelchair hire service to its customers, where you can hire out one of these items for up to seven days. Our Llandudno store has a dedicated team of stairlift engineers who provide free no obligation quotes, as well as install them in your home.

A single motor riser recliner is a great choice for those wanting the most basic model all motions controlled by a single motor. This means when the chair reclines the backrest and footplate move at the same time. Whereas a dual motor allows for a greater range of motion options, adjusting individual parts of the chair. A dual motor can have the backrest and footrest adjusted both independently and simultaneously, unlike a single motored chair where everything moves in one motion.
